BOTOX®
BOTOX® Cosmetic, the most commonly performed cosmetic procedure, is used to reduce or eliminate the appearance of facial wrinkles. It is injected under the skin into areas surrounding the eyes and forehead to smooth crow's feet, frown and worry lines. Made from a purified protein, BOTOX® injections block nerve impulses, weakening muscles to relax wrinkles and give the face a rejuvenated look. In addition, BOTOX® is FDA-approved for the treatment of severe axillary hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating).

Chemical Peels
We offer a range of chemical peels, most commonly using glycolic,  Kojic acid and salicylic acids that address rough texture, fine lines, dyspigmentation, acne breakouts, and photodamage.   A series of peels is necessary to achieve optimal results.  Deeper peels using TCA may be performed as well.

Microdermabrasion
We use the SkinScape Plus system to exfoliate the outer layer of skin and provide and refreshed, glowing appearance. Crystals are pushed onto the surface of the skin and subsequently brushed off with the microdermabrasion vacuum tool to remove the most superficial layers of skin. Microdermabrasion may be performed in conjuction with other rejuvenating procedures such as chemical peels. Multiple treatments are recommended to achieve optimal results.

Photodynamic Therapy
Our office offers photodynamic Blu-U (www.dusapharma.com) therapy for the treatment of photodamage. Performed in our office, the procedure is a blue light-based treatment which involves the application of a light-sensitizing chemical, followed by an incubation period and subsequent Blu-U light treatment.

Hyaluronic Acid Fillers
With aging comes loss of skin elasticity and a reduction in hyaluronic acid, which provides plumpness to the skin. Restylane® (www.restylane.com) is a  clear gel composed of hyaluronic acid that are injected directly into facial lines and furrows around the nasolabial folds (area from the nose to the corner of the mouth), lips, and chin. These treatments restore plumpness and reduces the appearance of fine lines. Perlane is a "plumper" substance as injected into the nasolabial folds.

Sclerotherapy
Sclerotherapy using hypertonic saline is a  treatment option for spider veins of the legs. The hypertonic saline solution is injected directly into the affected areas, often over a period of 1-5 sessions. Most patients use compression therapy (support stockings) following their treatment sessions to achieve maximal results.
