We come together as a practice to give compassionate care from providers dedicated to excellence and integrity

Joyce Sumner, PA-C

On why Dermatology
I enjoy practicing preventative medicine on all age groups.  I see the skin as a "window to the body".  Much of my clinic time is spent screening for skin cancers and treating common hair, skin and nail conditions.  A solid, caring, trusting provider-patient relationship is an integral part of the healing process. I enjoy practicing the aesthetic realm of medicine as it gives me a chance to help patients achieve a natural, more refreshed look.

On Relationships with my Patients
My goal is to work with my patients as a team to achieve their skin care needs.  I enjoy treating all members within a family and am appreciative that we can provide continuity of care.

Areas of Interest
I have a special interest in allergic contact dermatitis and have received extra training through the American Contact Dermatitis Society to help patients identify and avoid allergens.

I enjoy performing cosmetic procedures such as Botox, hyaluronic acid fillers, lasers and chemical peels.
